Hi everyone- it has been a long time since I have been on. My BR was 5/23/06 and was very happy with the results. I went from busting out of a DDD to a D. I had asked her for a C but she said her job was to leave me with a beautiful round breast, not a particular cup size.
Now almost one year later, I have been struggling with the CONSTANT, DAILY thoughts that I still have "BIG" boobs and I still can't wear certain shirts because I feel like they are just too big.
My DH has continued to tell me that I look incredible now (and they do look soooo much better- don't get me wrong) but he just doesn't understand that I really wanted to go down to a smaller size so that my boobs weren't something that I considered a nuisance. Make sense?
Regardless, I went to my 1 year post op and basically the surgeon completely agreed with me. I was so happy!!! So she told me that for the revision she would not charge me for her portion but I would have to pay for the OR and the anthesiologist. (SP?). I was worried about how much that would be and was ESTATIC when they quoted me just $1227!!!!!
So, now my only challenge is convincing my husband to give me the okay. I have tried to explain to him how important it is too me and I am just giving him a few days to give me the "go ahead" that I want to hear.
Just wanted to share. I have read the latest posts about people thinking they are still too big and completely understood their feelings!!!
I haven't updated my http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/viewAlbum.php?albumid=1112.

Nancy, I think you look fantastic! They look perfect, read cupcakes post. She now feels too small. be careful, they look very suitable for your body, great proportion. I wouldn't touch them. The shape is also beautiful. What tops can you not wear? I'm still a D and can wear most tops. And they stay up there, not like they used to be down to my waist.

Nancy,
I too think that your breasts look absolutely gorgeous! I would really think about it. Lyn

Nancy,
I went from a 36F to a 36 D and I was not happy. Like you, I waited a year and my surgeon told me that he also thought I was to big. I just had a revision 3 weeks ago and it is the greatest thing I ever did. I am not a 36 B and they are def. not to small. I hope it works out for you!

I also think you look beautiful....the shape, the size, everything.....
HOWEVER....I think you deserve to be happy....and I understand that a D cup may not be making you happy. I think you should sit your husband down and explain to him how very important it is to you and your reasonings....let him sleep on it and see what he says.
I am curiuos to see where this goes because I am 2 wks po and VERY unhappy with my size. My right breast is perfect...looks like it will be a small C...left one...large D....unacceptable. I hear everyone saying I'm still swollen but I can just see that there will be a revision down the road...I will not accept being a D cup and I fully understand if you won't either. I don't care if everyone thinks it "looks" ok....I am determined to be in a C cup or less. Please let us know what you decide!!
Oh-and one question for you--did you go down in size at all after two wks po? It doesn't look it from your photos but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Best Wishes Jessica

Hi Chef. You and I were on here at the same time last year (about). I had same problem. Just had revision on April 13th. Looking at your pics, you look great. Unless something has happened since 3 months PO. However, if you aren't happy and PS agrees. Go for it. As far as hubby goes. I had all the support in the world from mine. He was worried that I would be too small but I assured him that wouldn't happen. I'm sure he will support you. What exactly is the PS going to do? I just had my revision with lipo and one insicion under my right breast. I'm real swollen under arm but feel pretty good. Thank God!! Let me know what the PS is going to do. I'm curious. I had to pay $2100 for hospital and sleepy dr.

HI Nancy! Nice to see you back! I think you look fantastic, too....but you have to please yourself. I'd definitely think about it though....you are nice and even and perky...you wouldn't want to risk losing that.

Hi Nancy! Missed you!
I am struggling right now too. I tried on dresses for a bridal shower that is coming up. The dresses fit in the body but too small in the chest. I STILL had to go up a size to fit the damned boobs in the dress. I came home and cried. I thought they were still too big but when I tried on dresses for the first time since the BR and things didn't work, it kind of confirmed they were too big.
I don't think mine are oversized enough for a revision, but it takes a little of the joy of this out.
Keep us updated...Beth
