I've been so interested in your BR journey. You looked amazing right after your revision. How are you now? Any updated pics?

Now, didn't I tell you not to be concerned about the under breast incision? Told you so! You look fantastic. Are you a teensy bit smaller post revision?
I'm fine but not as happy as you are. I stressed to my PS not to make me too small.....well, I must have over stressed, I think, because I'm not small enough. I did ask for a generous C. She removed about 270 grams from each. Surely not enough to make me a C, don't you think? I was 34E and now I'm 34DD, sometimes 34D. Not as perky as I'd like. My own fault though. There have been one or two minor probs, too. Nothing serious...no open spots.
I'm 5 months PO now. I'll just have to be content and make the most of it. I certainly don't regret it.......I just wish I'd found this site before surgery. I would have been much surer about what I wanted. I stated too many times that I didn't want to be tiny. I'm sure I confused her and gave the wrong impression.

Hi Evmil
So sorry you are not 100% happy. 270g from each side is not much, so it's not surprising you have only gone down one or two cup sizes. Have you thought about a revision or discussed it with your surgeon? I know it's a big decision, and you may have to pay hospital fees like me , but it may be worth considering for long term satisfaction.
I had 380g removed from left side, and 340g from right, and that took me from 36DD to 36C which is exactly what I wanted. No, I haven't gone down a size since the revision. It's just that everything is now in the right place, and bras fit properly.
I've just realised that my last pics were pretty awful, so have just posted some 5 week post revision pics. Somehow I managed to turn the flash off so they are a bit dark (me and technology don't mix ), but I think you can view them ok. I just had to show you all my pretty bras as I can't walk around showing them to everyone else!!
Very best wishes

Dazz, you look really really great. I can't wait to wear cutsie bras.
you've been M.I.A on the board, what's been going on? I wonder if I'll stop posting after a few weeks of my BR. I hope not because you gals are great and the same way you all have helped me, I would like to help other people.
Answer
you look soo good! makes me happy to see your pics, although i dont understand why u had a revision, was there a problem? cause i dont notice anything bad with the pre-revision iwannabeflat - The revision was for bottoming out, which doesn't show up all that well in the pics. Basically, the bottom half of the breasts sag downwards, causing a flat 'pancake' appearance, and making the nipples too high. There is a thread on page 8 in which I have gone into great detail, http://messageboards.makemeheal.com/viewtopic.php?t=35822" target="_blank">http://messageboards.makemeheal.com/viewtopic.php?t=35822 I am so happy now though
bunbun31 - It's funny with this board, but I know it does become a bit of an addiction (obsession??), and I know other women have felt this way too, but I thought that everyone was probably sick to death of hearing me banging on about my revision surgery Also, there is a sort of natural progession that when you are over the recovery you kinda need to move on and wean yourself off the board! I will stay around, and hope I can help others, but won't be as active
Off now for more bra and swimsuit shopping
Best wishes to all

Now Dazz, we could never get tired of hearing from you and how you are doing! I know the feeling though - not sure everyone wants to hear my inch by inch recovery process and my personal concerns! I do plan to keep posting http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/viewAlbum.php?albumid=2445

Thanks Annalee!
By the way, your under-the-breast incisions are fabulous! It's that dreamy surgeon you have! I have to say, mine are a bit raised and red...I hope it's not because I did too much too soon. i fully expect them to fade over time though. I had a C-section, which I thought produced quite a and now it's completely gone.
Seeing 'dreamy surgeon' on Wednesday, and I'm sure he will be as pleased as I am with the healing. Will report back! I am still plugging away with the Bio Oil and gel sheeting, even though it is a bit of a pain Hoping it is helping to get a good long term result. Are you doing anything with your scars? I think time and patience is the answer, as with your C section scar
ONe nipple has more sensation than the other, it's true....but, the other isn't just plain NUMB - it's just not as "reactive".
Hope both your nipples become fully functional soon! Everyone is so different with their healing - nothing is 'average' or normal, but I think that from reading the forums most problems resolve with time. I was just so lucky to have very straightforward recoveries both times.
Coudn't get your password to work? Is that just me, or is there a problem? Have you added any pics recently? I would love to see them.
Very best wishes

Hi Dazz,
Looked at you new difference and not the size of the boobs?
Answer
Dazz and Annalee - you both look wonderful! Thanks for the updated pics.
I've got sexy bra fantasies... Dazz, it was so cool to see you model your new cut bras! You've got good reason to be smiling Years ago I was given Victoria's Secret Annalee - You are looking really good, and developing a nice shape I'm sure the redness will soon fade. You look as though you have really fair , so maybe that's something to do with it. I think I read in another post that you were worried about the areolas having a bluish tinge? I'm sure that is because of your skin tone. In your 'before' pics the areolas are very pale (mine were too!), and when they are reduced the tone is more concentrated in a smaller area. I'm rambling, but I think I know what I mean!
SmallerMe - I bet you noticed the difference having smaller boobs in Australia's heat Did you wear lots of tops that you wouldn't have considered before? It was last summer's prolonged hot humid weather that finished me off - having to work all day in a non-airconditioned building. I am looking forward to being a lot more comfortable this year, and if my bra does get all wet and sweaty I shall just whip it off Not in front of the public though.....
Looking_good - Enjoy your bra buying Mine's becoming a bit of an obsession, but I am enjoying myself sooo much!

Answer
Dazz,
It was a wonderful feeling to go braless under a strappy top, very liberating And wearing a bra in 39C heat really was no problem, I did get sweaty, but no rash!
Never owned a strappy top before, had lots of polo/t-shirts that did not fit well over the saggy boobs.
Now that I have "dropped and fluffed" I am very concious though, can't believe the sagging has gone, and keep scrutinering myself in the mirror. My husband keeps reassuring me I look great, and seems to becoming an expert on suggesting tops/jackets to buy.
Swimwear and Bra shopping gives me such a buzz too, picked up a couple in Marks this lunchtime, it is just becoming addictive.
