Question
I love reading everyones experiences, I have stopped smoking using the patch. have done wewll so far, ps wants me to go off the patch 3 weeks prior to surgery which is this week.......also, got up this morning with my period i am so regular the way it looks now is that i will have it with my surgery. I plan on calling the gyno in the a.m. YUCK. my boyfriend of 6+ years is really trying to be encouraging even though he is not crazy about me having this surgery i think he's just given up trying to change my mind and now relizes how determined i am to do this. he is very worried thinks i should be off the cig. at least 6 months, this has been a strugle but i changed my calender to april and now it's only a month away i know i can do it patch or not.

Hey. I was on my period.. near the end during surgery and I was upset the day I got it but am glad now that I did get it then... now I do not have to worry about dealing with that until I am atleast 3-4 weeks PO.
Think about it before you go and throw your hormones off to avoid it.
