2 Insurances

Question
Has anyone had primary and secondary insurance BR coverage?
Did the secondary insurance provide coverage even is primary did not provide any coverage?
I'm considering lower abdominal lipo at the same time. I'm thinking this will be out of my pocket, but not sure.
Your experiences/input is well appreciated.

Answer
Lipo is not covered by insurance...anything that can be deemed cosmetic requires a good case to tell them why it isn't...and there is no way to justify lipo on a fairly proportional weighted person(as opposed to a morbidly obese person who has sores that won't heal, etc.). But, if you do have the lipo at the same time, you probably won't have to pay another location fee (hospital or surgicenter), and the anesthesiologist will probably submit his whole fee to the IC...so you could possibly save there, depending what your insurance arrangement is. (If you have to pay some percentage vs. if your secondary picks up everything the primary doesn't cover). Good luck!!BR, Chin/Neck Lipo 6/29/2005; BR revisions and lipo 5/24/2006
