Okay, had my surgery yesterday at about 10:00. Other than getting sick as I was leaving the surgery center (too much vicodin on an empty stomach) I had a pretty uneventful night. Sleep on my recliner and couch. one of the best parts, reading about the ladies that are fresh home from the hospital. Rest well.

Welcome to the club, BBuchler! Glad all went well (except for the vicodin reaction )....remember, they will change shape--so don't put too much stock in what they look like now! (When I had mine last year, nobody warned me that I'd have flat squares at first, and it was disheartening to say the least!)

Hope everything is going well for you. Sorry you got sick from the Vicodin but at least you have new friends. Next time you take the Vicodin on a full stomach it will make you float. YeeeeeHaaaaaw Hope you continue to do well Happy Healings Can't wait for my day. Trying to get prepared. The sooner the better.

Congratulations Barbara. Hope you are resting in a peaceful Vicodin slumber. Thanks for the heads-up on the vicodin reaction, i am a lightweight with painkillers so i will probably have the same issue.

How do the drains feel specifically? I will have them as well and am a little nervous about how my mobility will be while they are in.

The PS took my drains out on Day 3, not problem, just a big breath and they were done. My boobs are SO SQUARE I have to laugh when I look at them (Ihaven't show DH yet, I think he'd freak).
My only problem so far is the repair to the hip lipo and /mmh/product/scar_reduction/index.vm?procid=42" target=_blank>scar extention. This has hurt like hell. My boobs are "uncomfortable" but not painful. Course they're THIS BIG and hard as rocks, but definately smaller. Can't want till they drop and fluff.
My password for the pictures is yipee, all lower case. As you can see, there are no steri strips just stitches.
Well back to a nap.

CONGRATULATIONS !! i hope all is going well and you are feeling good i am 3 weeks post-op and doing ok, i'm sureyou will be pleased with your outcome it will take time for the girls to shapen but be patient it will happen, just not overnight, take care and happy healing...
