Question
Well, tomorrow I pay for my BA and will officially have 2 weeks until surgery
I'm getting really excited about it; although I still have thoughts of am I going too big, am I not going big enough, etc. However, I'm not worried enough to feel the need to change the size of my implants.
So to all you overs girls--what can I expect for recovery and do I need to prepare meals and freeze them and stuff? My husband has a banquet for work we need to go to the week after my BA Dare I attend or is it too early??
I'm dying to go buy bras and new clothes....but I can wait I guess.

It is getting really close. huh?
I went to a Christmas Party one week after my BA, but I did leave early, and I even drove myself to and from, that was hard too do... I know someone that had a BA and went to a party that night and was on NO pain meds....
Oh just read you are going with overs, am I reading this correct? I hear overs are a much eaiser recovery, I would not know I have partial unders...

Hi Mel-
I know what you are feeling- it's coming down to the wire now. My surgery is scheduled for early December and I think about it all of the time. Do you have children? I have two small kids and I am worried about my recovery. Seems like I pick up my 18 month old every second, so it's going to be tough.
What are you worried about?
Talk to you soon,
Patti
Answer
Mine (overs) were a piece of cake to recover from - the only thing I would be careful of is as with any surgery, you want to avoid raising your blood pressure for the first couple of weeks, so no heavy exercise, lifting, etc.
Excited for you!!!!!

I have a 27 month old and a 12 month old
It's definately going to be hard not picking up my babies, but with DH around I think it'll be okay.
...I can't put a finger on my exact "worries", but probably would just say size and that everything goes well with no complications.
Will be watching to see how things go for you Patti, good luck!

Mel Hi Mel, I've followed many of your posts and just wanted to wish you the very best of luck. All you are going through right now with wanting things to turn out fine, both size wise and and with no complications is perfectly 'normal'. I am so glad that you have good help available from your husband - so important that you not overdo it while you are recovering. My own surgery date is coming up next week. We'll both be 'on the other side' before we know it. Take good care of yourself, Maajida

Hi MellieMel,
Feeling nervous is normal. I think we all go through it. It wasn't too bad for me until the last 2 or 3 days.
Unders for me were difficult the first week. I could have gone to a party but I would have been tired early the first week.
With overs, I completely overdid everything. On day 3, I made three different hard bean home made soups. (To freeze for upcoming trips). Lots of chopping of veggies and stirring involved. Probably took 7-8 hours of being on my feet. I felt fine. A tiny bit more tired than normal, but no pain. I should have gone to work as I would have been less active. Being that active is DEFINITELY bad. I just couldn't stop myself as it felt almost painless compared to my unders. My http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/viewAlbum.php?albumid=1669&password=breasts
