? for doctor

Question
I came across this on the internet and really need opinions. The person wrote that one very important ? to ask your PS is "Do you dissect the medial portion of the pectoral muscle (in order to create more cleavage)?"-they said that you want the answer to be NO! Anyhow, just came back from my PS office and he said of course you need to do that...he actually was a bit upset that things like this are 'out there' (creating unnecessary worry for people). Anyhow, he said that if he didn't, the implants would be in my armpits. Any info. you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated-thank you so much....

Answer
Any feedback on this would be very helpful...

Answer
Working on the muscle at the breast bone (sternum) is a routine part of my operation. I don't know why you wouldn't want to do that at least to an extent unless the patient has chosen quite small implants. This is something I discuss individually with my patient.Best Regards,
