I have gotten pretty good with spotting those who had one and who didn't....I would not take it to heart especially since she has had two herself....otherwise I would say it is a jealously issue, but not since she had it done too. Honestly, she probably was happy for you and wanted to share the experience with you and compare notes (like we do here). Sometimes no matter how much we try, the world can get very small and our secrets known.....better to have come from her than a stranger or a vendictive acquantance....hang in there and be proud girl! I know that in many tops, and especially when wearing a push-up bra, I look "augmented". Implanted breasts are much rounder and perkier than natural breasts, whether they're a B or a DD.
I got busted at VS today. I was wearing a tank top, but no cleavage was showing at all, and I was talking about the fit of a few of their bras w/one of the sales girls, and she said, "You have implants, right?" I told her I did, and said jokingly that I guess I wasn't fooling anyone. She said my breasts looked much higher than natural ones that size would normally sit (I wear a 34D), plus it's unusual for a girl my size to have large boobs naturally (I'm 5'2 and 110 lbs). I'm not trying to hide my surgery, but sometimes it's a little bit startling how obvious it is to the rest of the world.
At least it was a good friend, and not some catty wench, who caught you. Plus, it sounds like she is a BA veteran anyway

I just wanted some boobs but I never wanted them too big. I am about 5'8", 135 lbs and now a 34C. When I wear somewhat loose clothes, I look very proportionate..... I think it's inappropriate for someone to ask that, unless it's a good friend or close family member that you would talk with about other personal stuff. WOw, this whole issue of other people's opinions is a world in itself. I haven't had anyone say anything to my face although it has to be obvious that someone who is small everywhere else is a 32g. Maybe because I'm a bit older (will be 54 in a couple of weeks) people refrain. I have had conversations with people like in a shop where I will be the one to bring it up, because it is difficult finding clothes which fit properly. It is really no big deal and everyone has been very sweet.
My 1st surg, I was 23 and times were different (`1975) and I told nobody. I think I felt defective because I needed them, breasts being connected to fertility and us being hard wired for that to matter and all, and I was embarrased. I had small implants anyway and was only a 34d with them, I also weighed about 15-20lbs more so they blended in better to the rest of me than how I look now - not that it's ridiculous (imo anyway) but they do stand out and I get lots of looks, etc. It gets pretty entertaining in the grocery store when a guys wife notices him leering and he's busted (no pun intended) This is fine by me, I am a performer used to being on stage and am used to attention and almost think I expect it - a lot of this is about your personality too and knowing yourself. So for my redo, I decided to really go for what I wanted and screw anyone who minded - I now see this as taking control of my body and using the resounces available to me to do what I want with it, not something to be embarrassed about. I suppose getting old and crusty plus 5 kids will adjust the attitude pretty good - and while I haven't made any big announcements, if anyone should ask in a way which doesn't offend me, I really don't care if people know.
