?'s Re: Future Insurance Coverage....

Question
I'm hoping to have a http://www.fda.gov/fdac/features/2000/400_implant.html
This statement caught my For women who have undergone ation either for augmentation or reconstruction, health insurance premiums may increase, coverage may be dropped, or future coverage may be denied. Treatment of complications may not be covered as well. You should check with your insurance company regarding coverage issues.
Does this mean that my insurance carrier might drop me, or deny coverage (for future breast related health issues) should I choose to have implants?
If so, WHY? Have insurance carriers determined that women with breast implants are more at risk for (future) breast related health issues (i.e., are they avoiding having to cover what they see as 'probable' future claims?)
I guess my question is ... am I putting myself more at risk for future health problems with my breasts by having implants?
Also, are mamaograms after implants more involved and more costly? ... and, if that's true, are insurance companies unwilling to cover the cost of these more expensive mamagrams.
I guess I could call my insurance carrier and ask these questions ... but before I make that phone call ... I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with your insurance companies denying coverage/claims due to having implants...?
Yes ... I'm a worry-wart.

Answer
I actually called my insurance company BCBS of MS, and they said that it doesn't affect my coverage, however if I have something related to the implants that come up, they will not cover it, i.e...deflation, rupture...etc.Mandy S.

Answer
I had read that same article about the insurance possibly denying coverage and dropping clients. That is concerning because there is no hiding this information, not recommended either. Whenever one sees a http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/viewAlbum.php?albumid=508
