wish you both the best of luck.. Thinking about you "M" and thinking your date was next week but its pretty darn close, huh? Wow, April 7th.... Im so excited for you and cant wait to hear your expericence. YOu have been a blessing and alot of support to many on here and i do know that they appreciate it alot... HOW WONDERFUL TO BE IN TOUCH WITH YOU BOTH....ONE WHO HAS GONE BEFORE AND IS SO KINDLY REASSURING AND OTHER WITH THE SAME SURGERY DATE AS ME. LISA, SOMEHOW THAT IS A TREMENDOUS COMFORT. I AM GETTING MORE EXCITED AND MORE NERVOUS AND THINKING OF MORE QUESTIONS WITH EACH PASSING DAY. Good luck 'M' you will do great, you are smart to get informed as what to expect. It helped me alot so I didn't freak that first few weeks anyway. One more thing, recovery for most people is slow so don't worry its totally normal. I thought whats the matter with me that I wasn't back as soon as I normally am with a surgery. Who knows you might be one of the lucky ones who breezes right through it!
Things to remember
1. You will look funny for awhile, don't worry it won't last. At one point your nipple will be turned down. BUT will NOT stay that way.
2. You will be bloated. And even have some extra weight . WILL NOT LAST!! about a week to lose it all
3. Pain meds will make you consipated, take a stool softner. Helps but doesn't make you run to bathroom.
