alphaderma on laugh lines

Question
Hi, I have been using alphaderma for 2 weeks, while I think I am starting to see results under my mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eyes, it seems that the lines around my mouth are becoming more noticable, has anyone else had this experience?

Answer
Which alphaderma products are you using? Are you using any other products (mmh/product/vitamins_supplements/index.vm?procid=44" target=_blank>vitamin C, RetinA) with it?BR, Chin/Neck Lipo 6/29/2005; BR revisions and lipo 5/24/2006

Answer
I am using the skin prep and mmh/product/beauty/alphaderma/index.vm?procid=13&catid=682" target=_blank>alphaderma, that is all right now but am thinking of adding a mmh/product/vitamins_supplements/index.vm?procid=44" target=_blank>vitamin c syrum, not sure which one to go for.
Thanks.

Answer
Have you tried the Okusil? That is the one product I have tried that really helped the crepiness under my mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eyes...I was without it for 2 weeks and was having a breakdown! I really love the whole mmh/product/beauty/alphaderma/index.vm?procid=13&catid=682" target=_blank>Alphaderma line...never experienced what you did, though. I did when I first started using RetinA...that's why I asked if you were using anything else.BR, Chin/Neck Lipo 6/29/2005; BR revisions and lipo 5/24/2006

Answer
Do you use okusil just under your mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eyes or on other areas too? I am also wondering if perhaps I need more moisture over the mmh/product/beauty/alphaderma/index.vm?procid=13&catid=682" target=_blank>alphaderma as I do live in a very dry climate and it is winter.

Answer
Okusil can be used under and over your mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eyes(according to their directions)...I just use it under, though. And a tiny bit goes a long way.BR, Chin/Neck Lipo 6/29/2005; BR revisions and lipo 5/24/2006

Answer
I have been using alpah derma cleansing milk which is fabulous. It smells so wonderful!! I use the skin prep, and CE. I have been using it since December. I would say to be honest I wouldn't purchase again. I do not dislike it, but I can't say it has done anything fabulous either. My face is nicely moisturized but I also use Oil of Olay regenersit which is the best for a nice smooth look! I also use Retin A. When this is finished I will more than likely try something else. Not sure right now what that will be.

Answer
Alpha derma has only 10% argireline you may need more than that to reduce the wrinkles! Most products have such a small amount of active ingredients that it is a waste and doesn't help.

Answer
In my experience, the restylyne/radiance) is the only thing that has worked for the 'laugh' lines.
My face is VERY assymetric, I get restylene (switched to radiance because it lasts longer) on just one side! I got the radiance for time in the beginning of October and it's still going strong! It is supposed to last between 18 months- 2 years.
It's worth it!

Answer
I used alpha derma ce wasn't particulary impressed, lately my eyes have looked worse, so I slathered it all over my face, eyes too, which I know its not intended for but it did seem to plump up the area. So I guess I'm back to experimenting.

Answer
I have tryed the alpha derma products but really wasn't impressed either.I have been using alot of trueradiance products[you can purchase on e-bay]stronger percents and more ingredients. It does help with wrinkles and laugh lines and lekat your right nothing will permanently removed them except plastic surgery or getting a filler as the resty or radiance.I have really started to take the time to check out ingredients in products the packaging is not important to me. janae

Answer
You are right, Janae. I think the more commercial brands are very concerned ( and understandibly so ) with labeling and litigation issues- so the percentages of active ingredients tends to be very conservative.
I still love the alpha derma- I use it as a basic -moisterizer- . For 'treatments', I am finding the higher pertentages of active ingredents in the non-commercial, -off label- brands to be much more effective. I have been using a vit c, ha, ala, dmae product from perfect comlexion that is killer- as well as a 25% argirlene, ala, dmae product from true radiance at night. That and some mmh/product/chemicalpeel/index.vm?procid=4" target=_blank>peels and retin a- I'm saving a ton of $.
The saved $'s has funded the radiance. The darn resty lasted < 5 weeks for me. I believe I spent 750 on the raiance for naso and lips- I spent more on getting my car a 50,000 mile maintenance. For me, well worth it (I am by no means 'well off', I still use coupons for my weekly Stop&Shop treks).
