Bump up, I too would love to know what brands of Sunblock/SunScreen you lovely ladies are using?
I NEVER thought I would be asking questions about what are the best sunscreen's... Right now I am using "mmh/product/beauty/skinceuticals/index.vm?procid=13&catid=487" target=_blank>SkinCeuticals Daily Sun Defense SPF 20" on my face, and hands is this enough protection with me using the Tazorac nightly... I will be out on the lake in my DH's boat a lot this Summer, and I so want my skin protected now...

A sunscreen with mmh/product/beauty/anthelios/index.vm?procid=13&catid=809" target=_blank>Mexoryl, recently FDA approved in the USA and used for ages in Europe gives good results. Any SPF of 30 is also good...(there have been many arguments written that any sunblock claiming to be more than SPF 30 is not better than a 30). But sometimes the base material will make a difference for an individual....(oily mmh/product/beauty/index.vm?procid=13" target=_blank>skin, dry skin, etc...may react differently to different products with the same SPF rating--sometimes you have to experiment to see what is best for you).

my favorite is Loreal Solar Expertise for Kids.
Full Mexoryl protection, effective immediately without having to wait 20 minutes before exposure. very gentle for mmh/product/beauty/index.vm?procid=13" target=_blank>skin. does not create matted look when facial powder is applied on top.
I bought about 10 of them at duty free in Europe last year so did not bother to see if the newly approved mexoryl based sunscreen in USA has this version.
Note that all Mexoryl based products are Loreal family products. THey have multiple brands under Loreal, like La Rochse Posay etc. Different price range. Lorea brand is least expensive, no frill, just as effective, and the kid version is really good. So, save your money and stick to just Loreal brand: they all come from the same company.
