Question
Hello there, you may or may not have noticed my absence. I would hope at least the cat's noticed I wasn't around...lol. I went in last Monday to have my mmh/product/tummytuck/index.vm?procid=11" target=_blank>tummy tuck revision & a couple little fixes, a little nip/tuck to my mons area & a little fix to my right breast. So, I am back now in recovery again & with a new vertical mmh/product/scar_reduction/index.vm?procid=42" target=_blank>scar to go with my horizontal one. I had had my lower body lift last summer, but since I had lost so much weight & had carried such a substantial amount of that in my middle I was quite stretched out side to side as well. My PS did what he called a modified tummy tuck & I am happy to report I truly have a tight flat tummy now. It will be even better after I stop with this immense swelling! I thought I knew what swelling was after the LBL & my BL/BA in December. However, I learned with this go around that that was nothing. I was wearing mostly 6s & 8s (or 7s & 9s) before surgery. I had a couple of pairs that had gotten baggy to the point I needed to wear a belt with them to keep them up. Well on Saturday I tried those baggy pairs on & couldn't even button them! I had a friend bring over some 14s & they actually fit! Then I tried those on again on Sunday & they fell right to the floor. I am in a pair of my 7s that were a little loose before this surgery & they are comfortable enuf to wear, but I don't need a belt. I am still considerably swollen according to the doc. I had one drain & pain pump removed on Friday & the other drain removed yesterday afternoon. I also went back to my desk job yesterday. All in all I am doing well. I feel like I am walking hunched over I was pulled so tight, but I am told I don't look like I am walking funny.
Anyway, I am out of commission on the exercise front for a month or so, but I am still watching what I eat as I want to care for my beautiful little belly.

Christian... Yes I noticed you were not around, but didn't know why. Shame on you for not letting us know> we missed you. Glad all is well. Sorry about the swell hell but you have a newer tighter tummy now. Hurrary.

How are you doing today? I remember all that! I thought I would never be "normal" again. It does get better! I bet you look awesome with that new tummy! My best part of the day is the mornings. I'm still in shock and it's been 4 months since my surgery. Hang in there. I'm glad your back. I had a pleasant surprise and was invited to Kauii for 11 days of R&R. I'm still getting used to the time change and my husbands long lost sister from a past foster home hired a private investigator to find him and she is coming tomorrow night instead of the previous planned weekend. I just got off of the plane and getting unpacked and the house in order. It will be a pretty exciting next couple of days. Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks gals! I appreciate all the support & the gentle hugs! I wasn't trying to sneak off with the surgery & all. I just never came up with how to present the surgery to most people. I didn't even tell most friends & family bcuz it just seemed kind of redundant! I mean I am a whole lot happier, but I was worried about ppl thinking I was crazed for going in again. lol I am really truly done with surgery now & looking forward to summer to enjoy my new body. Also, work was crazy hectic the last few weeks before surgery for me so I wasn't posting much. Who knew that taking a week off for surgery would lighten my load. My desk is pretty well cleared off this afternoon & I have time to catch up here.

LOL...that'll be the day! I am really looking forward to the trip. It is at the end of May so I will be nearly 2 months post. I know with both my previous surgeries I was 100% by then. I have never been to Vegas either. My hubby was there once, but he was a couple weeks too young at the time. So we are both really looking forward to the trip. Not to mention that I have had a couple friends live there, one already moved out. My one friend is still there as well as my cousin. I should have visited years ago! At least this way I get to go inmy new bod. I will let ya know how it is.

It wasn't that I was worried about judgement. It was the whole explaining why I basically need an inverted tummy tuck after I had a lower body lift. Just out of the norm! I know there is no judgment here & I love all you ladies for it.
