recovering from labiaplasty

Question
Just wanted to give warmbreeze and others an update. Had the surgery on Tuesday. Doing pretty good. No pain but a good bit of swelling right now. I've got one spot that wants to bleed when touched but not bad. Be happy to answer questions.
Warmbreeze if you get this I have some questions for you. Thank you

Answer
Does it hurt to urinate?? Just curious...

Answer
It burned right after the surgery but only the first time.

Answer
Hi Janart, I've been wondering about you, I had your surgery date marked on my calender. I thought I wait until you were ready to post to see how things went.

What do you think so far? Are you very swollen? Did he do the wedge or trim? Fill me in, I'm happy to answer any questions. I'll be gone all day today though so may not be able to answer until tonight or tomorrow. Take care, hope you're icing.

Answer
Hey warmbreeze sorry its taken so long to get back to you. Thank you for thinking about me, you are very sweet. Well it will be a week tomorrow. I'm doing pretty good. I did the trim method. He applied the sterile tape on the cut areas and one of those came off today. I've got one area that wants to bleed when disturbed. I've spent most of the days with skirts or dresses and no underwear so it can get air. This bleeding needs to stop. Its not bad but if something rubs it it starts. The doc that did the surgery said it was okay for my regular gyno to check me, so I will see her Wednesday. I sure didn't want to drive 4 1/2 hours again unless I was having trouble.
My question for you is after your surgery could you still see the inner labia or did you have to open the outer lips to see it? I've been chatting with someone else that had hers the day after me and she has to open up to see it. I can just hold the mirror there and see it. Its seems even with the outer lips though, I do have some swelling still of course. My outer lips are not very fatty either so that may be it. He prescribed me some Levaquin antibiotic so I got me some diflucan so I wouldn't get a yeast infection but I think I've got one anyway. Thanks again for your friendship (:
