help with weightloss

i need some advice on weight loss. I am 5'4 and weigh 198. I've tried alot of diets, and lost weight but like after i lose 15 lbs or so I lose motivation. So what should i do to stay motivated , or what diet should i use?

First of all, get rid of the word diet-you need to make a lifestyle change and it won't come easy to get rid of old habits.

I have been doing Weight Watchers because first of all-they have the highest success rate of people who have kept the weight off for years and second-they teach you how to eat all over again and change your eating style yet you don't have to give up anything. But you have to remember that what works for some, may not work for you. I like WW because I still can eat anything I want: no pre-packaged meals, no restrictions. Yes-you have to count points if you choose the Flex plan (what I am on) but after awhile, you know point values, portion sizes,etc.

As far as motivation-you have to find the will within yourself to do whatever weight loss plan you decide. It's hard to desribe, but this is my 5th time on WW in 10 years and this has been my most successful. Something just finally kicked in and I got the will to do it. As you go along, once your clothes get too big-get rid of them...you will not need them anymore. Once people start noticing then that will help you stay motivated. Seeing the difference in the way your clothes fit will help the motivation.

Before you do any plan-do a lot of web research. There is a site that has testimonies for everything :Jenny Craig, WW,etc. and it might help if you are considering doing a plan that requires high fees like Jenny Craig.
