Hi everyone! I am new to the forum. I was actually looking up reviews on Vicks Vapo Rub and Vinager for nail fungus when I came across this forum. I have also read on other sites that home remedies aren't good and infact can cause the fungus to spread or worsen. For example the Vinager. Has any one had a bad experience with the Vicks Vapo Rub?

Fungus is spread from one nail to another and from one person to another if they use the same instruments, implements and files on the infected nail as they do on all the other nails; if you share files, etc. with another person, you can give them the infection as well. Vinegar will not allow the infection to spread from one nail to the other, neither will Vicks or any of the other 'home' remedies.

Whatever you cnoose to use, you will need to apply it at least twice daily for up to a year. True fungal spores are very hard to 'kill' because they do not live in the nail plate, they live deep within the soft tissues of the nail bed.
