Question
I just started taking Vitex again regularly this week, and would love to hear if anyone else is as well. After I went off the BCP in March 2005, I didn't have a period until November 05. I started taking Vitex at about that time, and had my next period only 40 days later (yes, 40 days was not a long time for me because the one before I had was 8 months before). I stopped taking it in January for really no good reason, and haven't had a period since then. I believe that I haven't ovulated for over 5 months now. I am sure that Vitex worked for me in December, and that it will work for me now. I just have to stick with it!

Hi, yes i believe vitex helped me get pregnant with my two month old daughter. I was actually doing a lot of different things at the time but i know this helped me to ovulate early. my cycles just seemed to be getting longer and longer until i started taking it. i took the liquid version 25-35 or 40 drops daily mixed in with 2-3 cups green tea (for more cm) also took 3 tbs robitussin daily the week of O (to thin out cm) was charting my temps and also used an opk for the first time. And all of that finally helped me to conceive my little miracle. I've heard that vitex can take up to 6 months or more to work but i got lucky in the first month. My cycles were 40-50+ days long and when i took vitex i O'd on cd19 or 20. stick with it and also see about doing other things to improve your chances. good luck and take care!!
