i don't know about the random pains but the dizziness, running nose and puffiness sounds like allergies or a sinus infection (or possibly an ear infection). Which can also cause pain anywhere in the head. You can develop allergies anytime in your life. If you have been checked for ear and sinus infection, it is possible you have developed an allergy. I would suggest trying an over the counter decongestant (check with you doc or pharmacist first if you are on any medication).
Hope this helps some.
As for the rest - book an appointment right away as i understand that you will probably have to wait for a spot. That way the doc will know what's going on so if anything worsens you can call again and they will already be aware of what has been going on.
hey - i just reread your post. You said you have water like substance that drips through your nose. This indicates an allergy rather than an infection. I get the spins when i bend over or get up too fast at times. Sometimes that's the first indication that my allergies are acting up.
An antihistimine will help that. Sometimes i need both an antihist and a decongestant. Ask your doc or pharm. for a recommendation.
