Question
Memehegan, thank you for the very kind reply.
Like you, I think there must be some type of bacterial overgrowth - yeast infection.
I was on Zantac a few years ago for gastric reflux and with the lowering of acid, by this drug, that might well have enabled the growth of any bad bacteria.
Like Super Sarah suggests, I have taken good interflora bacteria in the form of supplements, but to no avail. I even begged my doctor three years ago (after my second endoscopy) to let me have triple therapy in the hope that the problem was caused by that h. pylori bacteria...but again, the medication had no impact. So it can't have been h. pylori causing the problem.
The fact that I have always a white coating on my tongue, points I suspect to some type of bacterial infection...eg yeast. But here's where I am stuck....
surely a yeast infection would result in me getting cankers, sores on tongue etc? I have never had that problem.
I am stumped.
I just sit down and cry at night.

I am so sorry you are going through this. My husband had a friend once who he said, would take a shower and walk across the room and smell like he hadn't showered in weeks. He never knew what the problem was or how to fix it and he died when in his 20's (accident - not from whatever this was)
I think you have received a lot of great advice, I'll throw my $.02 in and ask if there is a teaching hospital anywhere near you that may have more resources for diagnosing the problem.
Don't give up. I'm sure there is an answer out there.

William here's two things to do that would help you.....
You have some symtoms going on here that I've been reading about in the book, "Your bodies many cries for Water" Now this isn't 'just' drinking water alone.
First you need to get off all caffine and alcholic beverages and foods,go slowly on the caffine, some people get headaches. As you increase your water intake,
start using Mineral based sea/salt on your foods.
1/2 hour before your meals drink 1 to 2 glasses of water....
drinking a tea made from Apple Cider Vinegar with the 'Mother' in it.
This will detox the system too. You can even nutrilize you ph balance by using it to wipe off body parts that have odor. The smell the vinegar will go away.
Here is the recipe for the tea, 2teaspoon ACV w/mother, and
2 teaspoons organic honey with a cup of hot water. This is the only type of vinegar that you should use for this. It gets better tasting after each time you have it.
once your up to drinking 1/2 your bodyweight in water daily , take a 1/4 teaspoon sea/salt in the morn. after a glass of water, and the same at night in addition to having it on the food. This should rehydrate you and your system like crazy. Just try it for a month.
Swish and rinse your mouth with sea/salt water too.
Get the book at the library or read some of it in a book store, you'll be amazed at the information and studies that have been done on all kinds of illnesses, including depression.
The problem with this method is that the public has been told Not to have sodium in the diet, WHAT A RACKET...what the first thing they give you in the hospital..saline drip......that's salt and minerals and water...staight in the veins .....does your doctor tell you to drink more water ....there is no money in water and salt treatments.
Hope you get well were all pulling for you.....wish you the best. Diana

Daisy, thank you for the very kind words and the prayer.
I'm seeing my doctor again next week........I don't hold out much hope.
I just wish he would demand a bed for me in the hospital and then let them do tests on me for however long it takes.
If I can't find a solution, then I can't see much future.
